Duration: 1hr 30mins
Distance: 6km (Total 14km)
Price: Please contact for details
The Godrevy Lighthouse trip takes you eastward across St.Ives bay. After a 35 minuite steam accross the bay you will be just meters from Godrevy Island. If the conditions allow we will circle around the entire island (due to restrictions you cannot dissembark).

The lighthouse was built in 1859 to protect mariners and passengers from the infamous Stones Reef. It was made famous by Virgina Wolff who based one of her most popular works 'To The Lighthouse' (1927) on the structure.

Seals are often found on the rocks surrounding the island, although not as often as 'Seal Island'. The island covers an area of 12 acres and is home to Seagulls, Oystercatchers and Pipits.

On the way back if time allows we will take you much closer to the coast, past Gwithian beach and the towering dunes. 3.5 Miles of golden sand take you to Hayle Towns beach. After this we take you back to St. Ives.
